I had a pretty good lesson today. Cindy said that my eight-step mohawk sequence was looking about a hundred times better than it did the first time I showed it to her about a month ago. Of course, she helped me to debug a few more flaws as well … but it was feeling much better by the end of the session. She also taught me the Willow Waltz, which is definitely the most complex dance I’ve learned so far. It has two changes of direction and quite a bit of backward skating. But I got it by the end of the session, so that was exciting! We also talked about testing my preliminary dances in November.
